  • PGY 1 Location of Privilege

    In this section PGY 1s will be challenged to consider the ways in which some people are “privileged” and others are “subjugated”. They will be asked to reflect on a situation that illustrated their own privilege or subjugation.

  • PGY 2 Safe Learning Environment

    A safe learning environment is one that is free of intimidation and bullying. But also strives to be free of microaggressions. In this assignment PGY 2s are asked to consider events that could constitute micro or macroaggressions, consider how these events can be detrimental to learning as well as patient care and use a frame based feedback approach to call them out.

  • PGY 3 Active strategies for dealing with harrassment/ macro/microaggressions

    To make our learning and working environment more conducive to trust, learning and care, PGY 3s will learn the “Five D’s”. These strategies can be used to actively intervene when we observe acts of harassment/macro/microaggression so that bystanders can be upstanders
